Vessel Arrives To The Seas In 2016 With Unprecedented Cinema Hall, On Board Brewery And Outdoor Attractions
Carnival Cruises has announced the news of its new cruise, Carnival Vista, scheduled to arrive on the seas in May 2016. The ship will have the first IMAX movie theater on a ship. But the news does not stop there. There are some of the new attractions, outdoor cycling, the water park with the first rafting tube and a brewery on board with its own production. Carnival Vista also marks the company’s return to Europe with inaugural itineraries in the Mediterranean.
One of the ship’s innovations will be the Carnival Multiplex, an entertainment environment with the first IMAX movie theater on a cruise. Fans of the seventh art can watch both Hollywood blockbusters and classics and documentaries on a screen with three decks high. The IMAX cinema screens draw attention precisely to the dimensions. They occupy the whole wall, from floor to ceiling and side to side, but also have a curved shape, which creates a more intense immersion sensation in the film, regardless of where you sit.
Next to the room will be the Thrill Theater, a multidimensional experience with special effects. The Multiplex will still feature popcorn and snacks to accompany the movies.Another option in the same industry is the Warehouse, space to play video games and arcade.
The Carnival Vista will also have the SkyRide, the first water bottle on a ship. At a height of 45 meters, passengers will be able to pedal a bike-like vehicle along a 243-meter-long suspension path with a panoramic view of the ocean and ports of call. In the same place, there will be the SkyCourse, a suspended rope path. The activity center will still have a new area for indoor sports, with mini bowling, ping pong and video games.
The water park at Carnival Vista, WaterWorks, will be the largest in the company and will feature Kaleid-O-Slide, the fleet’s first rafting tube. The tour can be done in inflatable boats for one or two people, along a path of 135 meters in length, full of curves, with a kaleidoscopic visual effect.
In addition to including several restaurants and bars already known in the fleet, Carnival will have new spaces to awaken the sin of gluttony in Vista. One such is Seafood Shack, inspired by the best seafood houses in the New England region of the United States.Seafood Shack will be a casual setting, which will serve dishes like lobster sandwich, shrimp and fried clams and crab cakes.
The traditional RedFrog Pub will be repaginated and will win the first brewery aboard a company vessel. On each trip two beers will be prepared in the ale and lager styles, which may be draft beer and taken by the guests. With indoor and outdoor seating, the bar will still offer Caribbean drinks, a wide range of beers and rum, all to the sound of good live music. The ship’s itineraries will include beer tours with tastings for drinkers. The other new in bars will be the Havana Bar, specializing in traditional Cuban cocktails and snacks during the day. At night, the low light and space will be transformed into a Latin dance club.
Largest ship in Carnival’s fleet, Vista will be able to accommodate 3,936 guests in double cab occupancy. His maiden voyage will depart Trieste, Italy, on May 1, 2016 and will be 13 days long. This will be the company’s first route in Europe in three years. During its inaugural season, the ship will make routes in the Mediterranean with stops at ports in countries such as Italy, France, Spain, Croatia and Turkey. Some of the ports will be visited by Carnival Cruises for the first time, such as Crete and Corfu, Greece, Valletta, Malta, Palermo and Cagliari, Italy, and Gibraltar, UK.
