National Ranking Step Was Disputed In RosÁRio Oeste (MT) This Last Sunday (23)
The city of Rosário Oeste, in Mato Grosso, was the scene of another dispute of the national ranking of Road Cycling. The athletes competed in the GP Superprestigio de Ciclismo this Sunday, November 23. The winners of the elite category were Josias Serafim and Lucineide Sales.
The event brought together athletes from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Federal District, Rondônia, and the main cities of Mato Grosso. The course was 100km away and was faced with a lot of disposition by the competitors that took part.
The male Elite category was completely dominated by the athletes of Tangará da Serra. In the first place finished the cyclist Josias Serafim, followed by Paulo Ricardo and Sidney Canela. In the feminine Lucineide Salles, current Brazilian champion of Cuiabá, won the victory. Second place was won by Patricia Steyci.
Among the other water bottles categorized by cyclingenthusiasm.com, they also celebrated: Marcelo Meneses, of the Sub-30 category; Dayvyd Lima, in Children and Youth; Renan Migueleti, in Youth; Lucas Rebeque, in Junior; Francisco da Silva, in the Master’s degree 30-34 years; Euclicio Pacheco, in the Master 35-39 years; Maurin Silva, in the Master 40-44 years and Elias Rodrigues, in the Master 50-54 years.
“The pace of the race was quite exhausting and high throughout the course. We need to thank all the support of the city so that the event could happen in the best way.The athletes from Mato Grosso also deserve the congratulations because they did a great test and defended the state very well,”said Manoel Lima, president of the Federation of Mato Grosso do Sul (FMTC).
The XI edition of the GP Superprestigio de Ciclismo was an accomplishment of the Mato Grosso Federation of Cycling (FMTC) with supervision of the Brazilian Cycling Confederation (CBC) and support of the Municipality of Rosário Oeste, Government of the State of Mato Grosso, Military Police of the State of Mato Grosso and JR Tires.
